The Hotel Montanara is also a real insider tip for e-bikers - or those who want to become one: Over 40 bike tours suitable for e-bikes start right outside the front door; the right e-bikes for testing or hire are waiting in the hotel's own bike cellar, including instruction and tour advice through the Flachau mountains.

You rave so much about your home of the Salzburger Sportwelt Amadé. What makes the area such a great bike region for you?
It's not least the vastness of the region with its cross-valley tours. This allows for many varied tour options with marvellous viewpoints. Whether you're a leisure biker or an ambitious sports biker, there's something for everyone here.
What is your favourite tour?
The Frauenalm tour, of course. It is Flachau's favourite tour. It offers a challenging uphill, rustic and hip mountain huts to stop off at. A wonderful mountain view, especially of the Ennskraxn and then a long, flowing downhill with a few trails along the way.
