A cappy guy gets out. With a full beard, glasses, chequered shirt (that's just how they look, the bikers) and cheerfully shouts "Grias Enk" to the group. May we introduce him. This is Johannes, our bike guide. He is our man when it comes to anything to do with 2 wheels - he solves aches and pains on bikes and bikers in no time at all.
An outdoor sportsman through and through, he is a big fan of fast, technical and challenging sports in both summer and winter. After playing professional ice hockey, mountain biking has always been his sport of choice. Now it's the other way round and hockey is a hobby and a balance to biking.
Johannes was born in South Tyrol and has been exploring the Bregenzerwald for 8 years. He founded the Bregenzerwald Bike School, set up a broad and ever-growing touring programme and breathed new life into mountain biking in the Bregenzerwald with fresh and new ideas.
