This mountain bike tour takes you through diverse landscapes and is also suitable for beginners thanks to the moderate gradients. Starting in Au, cycle along the path to Schnepfau. Here, leave the cycle path and continue along a narrow country road; featuring a challenging ascent to Schnepfegg. This is followed by a brisk, winding descent to Bizau. From Bizau, take the tarmac toll road through woodland just before the village of Schönenbach. Tip: A detour to the beautiful Vorsäßsiedlung Schönenbach (approx. 1 km) is well worth it. Then, turn right onto a gravel road and continue steadily uphill to the Stogger Sattel. From here, enjoy a beautiful view over the mountains of the Hinterer Bregenzerwald. Next, follow an initially steep descent along the alpine path, then a more pleasant descent on a narrow tarmac road, passing mountain meadows back to Au.
