My sister's boyfriend at the time got me into mountain biking back in 1989. I can still remember it well, even though it was ages ago! I've been an enthusiastic mountain biker and e-mountain biker ever since. For me, biking is a sport that clears my head. You get to travel far and wide. You're always out in nature and in the mountains, you get to meet lots of new and nice people - it doesn't get any better than that!
It soon became clear that we wanted to run a bike hotel at some point. in 1997, we took over the Hotel Innerhofer from our parents and turned it into a bike hotel. In order to be able to offer our guests the best, I completed my bike guide training in 2004 and attend further training courses every year.
Our region is more diverse than any other and there are few officially signposted tours and trails, so everything that is not forbidden is allowed! We have made it our goal to make mountain bikers happy and we have succeeded very well so far!
