VILLNÖSS PANORAMA TOUR
We start in Albeins and follow the mountain stream past the Schmid Hof to the Hintersäger Hof. Here we cross the stream and cycle up the smooth trail to Fistill Boden. Here we bypass trail 11B and cycle leisurely up 2 hairpin bends on the tarmac road to the Russis Kreuz. After crossing over into the Villnöss valley, trail and gravel path no. 11 begins and takes us to the Putzerhof farm. There we ride 200 metres down the tarmac road on the left to the Neu Jonis Hof. Immediately after this, the trail takes a sharp left turn. After approx. 300 very steep metres, there is an extreme hairpin bend to the right into the Panoramaweg, which we must not miss. We stay on this smooth trail until around the 18th kilometre, where we climb steeply up to the football pitch. We cross the road and continue first on the 5er Weg and then on the Sunnseitenweg 3 to St. Jakob.
Here the route continues slightly uphill on tarmac until we reach the Jochhöfe for a well-earned break. This is where the descent begins and you have to be careful because these forests are full of marked and unmarked trails and paths... a veritable labyrinth. But this also has the advantage that you somehow always find your way out again. In any case, "my" favourite trail initially leads along the 5 trail to the Hoaderer Hof. Here, continue on the 7A to the right and leave the markings or head towards Evangelstein on a quaint forest path. After 300 metres, keep your eyes peeled and you will see the fun, steep trail on the left. This will take you to a forest road and from there directly back to Albeins.
