This route is certainly one of the most demanding in this area, both in terms of technical level and the great difference in altitude.

The first "warm-up" section is the ascent along the famous Strada del Menador or Kaiserjägerweg to the Vezzena plateau, but the route really gets going after the village of Lanzino. This is where the descent begins on the "Sentiero della Pace " ( Path of Peace ): a route of around 500 km that connects the Tonale Pass with the Marmolada and links some of the most important sites of the First World War, basically following the border line. The section indicated here is downhill and requires great concentration and control of the bike due to the nature of the terrain and the steep slope. The route ends at the soccer pitch in Caldonazzo, from where you can easily reach Levico on the cycle path.
