It wasn't so long ago that the entire bike industry was bustling about on the Fleckalm Trail - the occasion was the "Eurobike Demo Days" back then. Back then, journalists were able to test the latest models from the bike industry in person - and put them through their paces on the MTB single trail. Today, fortunately, things are more tranquil on the genuine Tyrolean Naturbursch - hand-carved, of course. But we still let it rip here in Brixental Valley.

At the beginning, the route leads along the edge of the piste through a wooded area with roots. After a short transfer section along the forest path, you cross the ski piste. Now the brown trail ribbon runs through the lush green of the alpine meadows. Before the trail leads into a dense forest, a few fun berms and smaller tables await. Bend after bend, the trail winds its way down the steep forest slope with its many roots. Again and again, short counter-climbs make you break out in a sweat.

Once you have passed the Fleckalm mountain inn, you can look forward to more flow again. Fast berms and smaller jumps provide variety on this section. Afterwards, you ride along the edge of the forest, across beautiful alpine meadows and finally back through a marvellous forest to the valley station of the Fleckalmbahn.

With a route length of 7.1 kilometres, the Fleckalm Trail is not only one of the longest single trails in Tyrol, but also one of the most varied. Amidst the impressive mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps, the route winds its way down around 1,100 metres in altitude. The Fleckalmtrail thus completes the region's exciting trail ensemble. We are particularly impressed by the view here: In the lower open section, the MTB single trail winds along the edge of an alpine meadow in numerous bends and draws our gaze to the distant Steinberge mountains. A good moment to pause. And so we sit in the sun, let our gaze wander and think about why we feel so at home here ... It's probably because bikers are simply welcome here in the Kitzbühel Alps - Brixental Valley. And the infrastructure that has been created here for us bikers makes everyone happy, from beginners to experienced trail bikers.

The home-brewed beer afterwards in the Wilde Gams, a dip in the cool Moorsee lake or simply another ride on the Fleckalm trail - it just feels good to be here.
