The three striking mountain obelisks are not only a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but also the landmark of a unique biking region in South Tyrol. the 3 Peaks Dolomites region has 5 villages under one roof: Sesto, San Candido, Dobbiaco, Villabassa and Braies. They all have their very own South Tyrolean characters with their hearts in the right place (i.e. under their biking gear). For a mountain bike holiday in South Tyrol full of bike enthusiasm and 2-wheel infrastructure.
- From Sesto you can enjoy a marvellous cross-border bike ride along the Carnic ridge between Italy and Austria. From the MTB practice park, you can head directly to the two single trails Erla & Standschützen.
- With its location in the centre of the 3 Peaks,San Candido is the perfect starting point for numerous MTB tours, where we can warm up on the wide valley floor.
- Toblach, situated at the crossroads of several valley cycle paths, scores points with the MTB paradise Silvestertal and its numerous huts and tours at high altitude as well as the legendary Marchkinkele (2,545 m).
- Leisure bikers are drawn to Villabassa - but so are the world's most ambitious mountain bikers. After all, the Dolomiti Superbike, one of the toughest MTB races in the Dolomites, takes place here every year.
- Mountain biking in Braies can be described in one word: panoramic. Bike to Lake Braies, pedal up to Prato Piazza or explore the Fanes Sennes Braies Nature Park - experience the most beautiful side of the Braies Valley by bike.
