Tyrolean trail addition in Nauders - Reschenpass: the new single trail Piz Trail offers both beginners and experienced riders flowy and speedy downhill fun over an impressive 7 kilometres. Your territory is the fragrant, fairytale pine forest; your challenge is the gentle curves, small jumps and natural obstacles.

Piz Trail

The new trail addition in Nauders - Reschenpass is called Piz Trail. The 7 kilometres of trail meander quickly and playfully through the green pine forest. With gentle bends, small jumps and natural obstacles, the trail is perfect for beginners and advanced riders alike. Spectacular views of the surrounding mountains included.

New trails for everyone

There are places that you simply have to experience. The cross-border 3-country bike arena in Nauders - Reschenpass between Austria, Switzerland and Italy is definitely one of them. Here you will not only find crisp climbs and challenging single trails, but also offers and infrastructure for families and beginners. And so trail growth is a top priority in the Nauders - Reschenpass mountain bike region. Since 2023, there have been two new routes, the Hofrat Trail and Piz Trail, which start from the mountain station of the Piz-Schöneben gondola lift and the Bergkastelbahn cable car. The region's trail repertoire has thus been expanded to include two easy but no less flowy trails.

Trail growth in Nauders - Reschenpass

The green Piz Trail was created in harmony with nature and takes rookies and pros down into the valley in a playful, fast and yet exciting way. The ideal first trail ride for beginners, youngsters and bike parents, winding through the beautiful pine forest. This makes the nature trail the first choice for families. And if you want, you can switch to the 7 km Obere Schöneben flow trail in between - the red one is the flow favourite trail for many. This opens up all kinds of new combinations that can be varied according to your mood. A cautious approach to greater challenges is possible step by step.

A trail for all skill levels

Whether you want to familiarise yourself with the trail or improve your skills in the saddle, you start at the Piz-Schöneben mountain station on the green Piztrail. The flowing route, which crosses below the Piz-Schöneben cable car several times, awaits us:

  • 7 kilometres of the finest, easy trails
  • 584 metres downhill
  • great combination options with the Schöneben Flowtrail (red)
  • a scenic route
  • gentle curves, small jumps & natural obstacles

As if fused with nature

But the Piz Trail is not just any hand-built trail. Thanks to its well thought-out planning and focus on sustainability, it virtually merges with its surroundings and leaves no lasting traces. Together with the spectacular views of the mountains of the Nauders - Reschenpass mountain bike region, you can enjoy nature to the full from the saddle. The single trail winds its way from the Piz-Schöneben mountain station towards the valley in endless bends and crossings. Sometimes fast, sometimes thrilling, sometimes playful, it goes through the forest and around the many Swiss stone pine trees. We don't want to give too much away, just this much: the Piz Trail at the Schöneben cable car is absolutely world-class in its segment!
