Highlight in the Kitzbühel Alps: Lisi Osl Trail

The range of trails in the Kitzbühel Alps - Brixental Valley mountain bike region is truly enormous. After all, there are highlights such as the Suntrail, Fleckalmtrail and the Bike Trail Hahnenkamm. The Lisi Osl Trail is a new fixed starter. The local Olympian has lent her name to the 2.3 km trail and is often spotted on it, especially in the off-season. Named after the great daughter of the Kitzbühel Alps - Brixental region, the approximately 3 kilometre-long trail guarantees pure downhill enjoyment.

Travelling on a legend

The ride starts directly at the mountain station of the Gaisberg cable car at 1,370 metres above sea level. Alternatively, you can also pedal along mountain bike route 203 from Kirchberg to the starting point of the Lisi Osl Trail. The start is marked by a wooden starting arch, under which we can already see the first bends of the trail and thus get a first impression. Numerous, sometimes long bends are the USP of the trail. What a promising start to the 450 metres downhill and its casual flow on the finest serpentines!

Through the forest in a natural way

Lots of flow, endless bends, easy steps and roots - the Lisi Osl Trail really plays all the parts. And so the two road crossings are of course also well marked, while a few wooden crossings in the upper part of the route provide variety. The trail mainly leads through the dense forest on the Gaisberg - but sometimes you can still catch a glimpse of the impressive panorama of the Brixental Valley before you arrive back at the valley station of the Geisberg cable car with a grin on your face. The Lisi Osl Trail delights pros and rookies alike.

One more to go

Just one lap is not enough for us on the Lisi Osl Trail in the Kitzbühel Alps - Brixental Valley. And so we get straight back on the Gaisberg cable car to save our energy for the descent. But before the next downhill treat, we have a Tyrolean power snack in the Gaisbergstüberl right at the mountain station. Over a fluffy Kaiserschmarrn on the sun terrace, we are already back in the flow. The hometown of Kirchberg has truly memorialised its exceptional athlete with the Signature Trail.
