TOP 5 ENDURO TOUR: PRAGSER WILDSEE
TOP 5 ENDURO TOUR: PRAGSER WILDSEE
After a short approach via the fitness trail in San Vigilio, the gravel road leads to the highest point of Somamunt, first moderately and then super steeply uphill. But the strenuous climb is worth it. The panoramic views at the top are breathtaking. After a short break, follow the trail that runs along the slope on the right and turns into a long, top-class singletrail further downhill on the left through the Lärchental valley to the Pragser Wildsee lake. From the Pragser Wildsee lake, you finally roll along the cycle path and side roads to Olang. Now it's up to Plan de Corones/Kronplatz (of course, you can also take the lift ticket and get there without expending too much energy). The next trail highlight is just around the corner: the Furcia Trail is the little brother of the Herrnsteig and is in no way inferior to the legend in terms of flow and curves. It never gets rough on the Furcia Trail. But it is all the more winding. The Furcia Trail has a total of 120 bends from the summit to the Furkelpass, where the Ruis lift takes mountain bikers back up to Kronplatz. (Length 4 km; altitude 600 metres). If you've had enough after a few rides, take a leisurely ride from the Furcia Pass back to San Vigilio.
