We start in front of the hotel and drive to the car park in Kitzbühel. After crossing the railway tracks, we head south-westwards along the tarmac road. We continue along the cable car route before turning left onto a forest road. Following the path the Hahnenkamm, we pedal steadily along the Ehrenbach stream, passing a chapel at 1,304 m. The ascent to the Melkalm is quite steep (1,540 m). After another 300 metres in altitude, we reach the junction at the Hahnenkamm (1,651 m), where the gravel road on the left leads over the Ehrenbachhöhe, followed by a short descent to the Jufenalm (1,872 m). A few minutes' ride up to the left brings you to the summit of the Steinbergkogel (1,982 m). After returning to the Jufenalm, with its impressive panorama of the Jufenkamm, the route climbs gently up to the Pengelstein (1,938 m). The rapid descent from the Pengelstein to the Saukaserbach will certainly get every biker's pulse racing. After the adrenaline rush, we ride comfortably on side roads along the Jochberger Ache, returning to Kitzbühel and the car park, before heading back to Kirchberg.
