This tour to the Ascherhütte is simply too beautiful to miss. The Alpine Club hut, located at 2,256 metres above sea level in the Samnaun group, is the destination. The 1,200 metre ascent is a real challenge, with gradients of up to 18% and a mostly gravel surface. If you prefer a more leisurely ride, take the mountain railway to the Medrigalm, then follow the panoramic route up to the hut. The cosy hut with its sun terrace is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy regional specialities. Return via the Medrigalm towards the Schaller with its breathtaking waterfall (just 50 metres behind our hotel) or take the more leisurely trail that ends near the hotel by the church. For experts, ther´s also a trail variant offering a bit more action.
