PAZNAUN TOUR
The Paznaun tour is an extended tour and, due to the considerable distance and altitude gain, it can be classifiied as difficult. The majority of the route follows tarmac roads or well-surfaced forest paths. A highlight is the passage through the Gigglertobel, from Hintergiggl over to Frödenegg, as part of the Transalp stage from Landeck to Ischgl. However, unlike the professionals, much of this trail section remained a push section for us. On the section south of the Trisanna in the Samnaun group, you´ll get a good impression of how the second part of the route north of the Trisanna will unfold, running from Giggl via See to the Gampertun forest on the southers slopes of the Verwall group. We continue along the mountain road via Langesthei to Falgenair, where we are rewarded with magnificent views across the Inntal valley to Tschirgant. Worth seeing: Wiesberg Castle, Trisanna bridge of the Arlberg railway, the carved artwork in See, and the Falgenair viewpoint
