From the hotel we cycle to the church square, then keep left along the main road until the Bruneck/Furkelpass junction. Then follow the road in the direction of Furkelpass and do not continue to Furkelpass, but after the hamlet of Hof in the direction of Pfarre. In Pfarre we take the steep tarmac road between the church and Gran Ciasa up to the hamlet of Cianoré. We then turn left up a somewhat steep gravel road to Biei. In Biei, we cycle through the narrow passage between the two stables onto a flat road to Fordora. There we take the tarmac road down to the left, which leads to the Furkelpass road. Once at the Furkel Pass, we cycle through the subway to the Pré da Peres lift. The old pass road to St. Vigil starts there. Shortly after the lift, however, we take the right-hand path that leads to the Rara lift and behind the lift through the forest, inviting us on an exciting but not demanding descent. Once we reach the tarmac road, we take it uphill again until we reach the gravel road that leads steeply downhill to San Vigilio.
