You start at the Zwölferkogel valley station. At the start, head towards the end of the valley. After approx. 200 m, turn right over a bridge (Forellenhof) and continue up the mountain. The Pfefferweg trail takes you past the Pfefferalm to the Reiterkogelbahn middle station.
For all those who want to take it easy: The first 450 meters or so of altitude difference can also be covered effortlessly with the Reiterkogelbahn.

Now you pass the Wieseralm and continue towards the Roßwaldhütte. In the area of the Roßwaldhütte, you pass a short section of the trail above, then you reach a forest path again. This continues towards Reichkendlkopf and the mountain station of the Hochalm chairlift. Then continue along the ridge path past the mountain station of the Spieleck chairlift to the mountain station of the Spieleck T-bar lift. Take a look to the left and right along the ridge path and enjoy the fantastic panorama up here. Once you have left this ascent behind you, the crowning reward awaits you.

A seemingly endless descent through the picturesque landscape of the Pinzgau grass mountains. With small berms, stream crossings, hairpin bends, easy root and stone fields, this descent has everything to make a trail biker's heart beat faster. At the end, the single trail leads back onto a forest road. This ends at the end of the valley in the district of Lengau, from where you can cycle back to Saalbach Hinterglemm in comfort.
