A scenic and varied mountain bike tour with few altitude metres, which can also be easily mastered by beginners (however, it is advisable to avoid weekends if you choose the easy option on the Plansee road). The tour takes you through the wild and romantic Loisachtal valley, past the waterfall and then through the remote Naidernachtal valley to the Plansee lake, which offers great swimming opportunities when the temperatures are right. The route continues to Lake Heiterwanger See and then returns via Bichlbach and Lermoos. There are also some variants for more experienced mountain bikers: take the path on the southern shore of Plansee, which leads over rooty, rocky and bumpy tracks with short descents - but there is little traffic here and no cars. To increase the elevation gain, head up to "Lähn" to the Tuftlalm at 1,500 metres. Refreshment stops: At Plansee there is a kiosk at the campsite, the Hotel Forelle and Seespitze. A Heiterwanger See, you can eat particularly well at the "Fischer am See". If you cycle up to the Tuftlalm, you can enjoy fresh, home-made grey cheese, alpine butter and homemade sausages and, if the alpine innkeeper is around, you might evven get a schnapps!
