A pleasant tour of medium difficulty! We take narrow paths or roads to the Zugspitzbahn valley station. From there, we pass the Hochtörlehütte (refreshment stop) until we reach a large meadow on the left, downhill to the right via a path marked as a dead end. Watch out! After this clearing, a path on the left leads to the Eibsee road. Follow the left bank until you reach the Zierwald junction, then take a short steep climb to the left. Afterward, bear right downhill to "Zierwald Grainau" until you reach the path that sharply branches off towards the Gschwandbrücke bridge. From there, take the cycle path back to Ehrwald.
