The tour starts at Hotel Grof and leads to Žovnek Castle, where the ancestors of the Counts of Celje lived. We will visit the castle and then continue cycling past Žovnek Lake, followed by a short break at the local Košec farm, which has been growing hazelnuts for several decades. We will taste their hazelnut products. We will then continue cycling through the green hop fields to the local brewery Clef, where music and beer merge. At Clef we will taste different beers named after famous Slovenian song titles. For lunch we will try the "obirovska južna", the typical lunch of hop farmers. We end our trip at the Grüngold beer fountain in Žalec, where we enjoy a beer from local breweries from six different taps. Transfer by bike back to Grof and farewell.
