South Tyrol's small Alpe di Siusi, but without hotels and cars. This is the right place for bikers who don't want it so steep and want to enjoy a unique landscape of flowers. Below the St. Cross massif and with views of the Peitler, Geisler and Marmolada, this is perhaps the most spectacular tour in the Dolomites. Rustic refreshment stops and exciting descents make it a "must do" tour. You first take the tarmac road behind the hotel to the La Para hut, where you already have a breathtaking view of San Vigilio and the entire Val Badia as far as Pederü and the surrounding Dolomites. From here, a challenging gravel path begins up to the Gran Ju and Ju de Rit fork at 1553 metres. Here you continue in the direction of Rit Joch on the path N. 8 - 13/15. This forest path crosses the Corn mountain and gains and loses altitude again and again.

On the left, you always have a great view of San Vigilio and the surrounding area. After the Rit meadows, you come to the fork between Rit Ju and Gran Rit. Continue to Gran Rit on path no. 15 up to 2,000 metres and then directly onto the large Rit meadows with views as far as the Marmolada. Continue through beautiful meadows until the very steep descent towards Spescia. Here you can already see the first hamlets of the municipality of Wengen. Take path no. 15 towards the Armentara meadows. A pleasant forest road leads through shady spruce forests up to 2,000 metres. The Armentara meadows, one of the most beautiful alpine pastures in the Val Badia, open up here. We stay on trail no. 15 until the fork towards Hl. Kreuz. Here we turn off in the direction of Fornacia N. 15 until the fork that leads to the Ranch hut. Recommended stop for a break with a wonderful panorama of the Peitler and Geisler. Ride past the hut, now downhill towards Valgiarei and St. Leonhard in Abtei.

Now the return journey begins in the direction of Pedraces on the main road until shortly before Pederoa, where you may have the opportunity to take the forest path on the left side of the river (small wooden bridge at the Crafonara junction). After Pederoa and before Pikolein, cross the bridge again to the other side of the river and cycle to the bridge at St. Martin, where you join the main road to Pikolein. In Pikolein, we cycle through the village and turn into the old post road above the lift station to Zwischenwasser. Once there, we follow the main road to St. Vigil, where the tour ends.
