The tower in Lake Resia is the landmark of the Venosta Valley and looks very picturesque despite its rather less idyllic history. After the Second World War, Lakes Reschen and Grauner were dammed against the will of the inhabitants of the Upper Venosta Valley, so that many inhabitants lost their livelihoods and since then only the tower of the 14th century church can be seen.
The historic Stieralm is located directly on the trail and is a lighthouse project that combines tradition, Nauderer history and the best service into a sustainable catering concept. The large sun terrace offers a magnificent view at 2,000 metres.
