The ‘new’ mountain bike hotel in a class of its own: under the new name Dips&Drops, a new meeting place for outdoor freaks and adventure-seekers has been created. What skiing is in winter, mountain biking is here in summer - no wonder, the hotel has been a mountain bike hotel for over thirty years (!). This new start not only brings with it a new name, but also an even more specific focus on mountain bike holidays. Dips&Drops - derived from the English names of two off-piste passages on the bike trail or freeski sections in open terrain - promises a closer connection between people with one and the same passion: the mountain experience and discovering new adventures. Mountain bike holidays at the bike hotel in Flachau

And the location also scores extra points: the Dips&Drops is located directly on the Enns cycle path, just 20 minutes from the Reiteralm trails and also at the entrance to the Stoneman Taurista and the starting point for 40 mountain bike and e-bike tours of varying levels of difficulty in the heart of the Salzburger Sportwelt. And if that's not enough, you can let the hotel's own guides take you to the region's hot spots or try out the test bikes in the hotel's own Haibike test centre.

Here at Dips&Drops you will find over 30 years of biking expertise. The aim was to combine an active holiday experience in the Alps with good cuisine. After 30 years as a bike hotel, we are more committed and passionate about what we do than ever before. Added to this is a good portion of expertise, experience and perfection.
The Dips&Drops team is a successful mix of locals, sports trainers and mechanics, all of whom are trained MTB guides. Our guides are as diverse as our guests, so every guest is guaranteed to find their own guide.
Not only the Bikehotel Dips&Drops, but the whole region of Flachau has dedicated itself to biking. The bike route network is constantly being expanded and improved. Since 2018, Flachau has been the starting point for Roland Stauder's 148-kilometre Stoneman Taurista, where you cycle over 4,500 metres in altitude. Of course, we offer a return service at the bike hotel if you opt for one of the multi-day Stoneman tours. The tour to the Frauenalam and around the Aigenberg in the Bikepark Wagrain are among the classics.
